CyBurr's Vitamin Guide

Vitamin A (Retinol) It helps with building healthy eyes and bone development.  It  also helps heal infections.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) It helps in carbohydrate metabolism and energy production. It is needed for normal nerve function.

Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) This vitamin helps in production of energy from foods and  forming red blood cells.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin) It helps release of energy from carbohydrates, fats and proteins.  It also helps with healthy skin production.

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) This vitamin helps release energy from food.

Vitamin B6  It is required for protein metabolism and nervous system function.  It participates in the synthesis of red blood cells and hormones.

Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid) It’s needed for forming red blood cells and synthesizing of DNA and protein.

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) This vitamin helps maintain a healthy nervous system.  It is required for growth and the production of red blood cells, and it helps break down fatty acids.

Vitamin C  It’s needed for the formation of connective tissue, teeth and bones.  It assists in the utilization of other vitamins.

Vitamin D  It helps in normal bone and tooth growth.  It aids in calcium and phosphorus absorption.

Vitamin E It protects the body’s cells and helps maintain normal red blood cells.

Vitamin K It’s essential in the blood clotting process.

Vitamin H/ B7 (Biotin) It helps with the proper growth and production of fatty acids.

Vitamin P (Bioflavonoids) Helps blood clotting, and it has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Zinc It supports healthy immune system and maintains a sense of taste and smell.  It aids in DNA synthesis and normal body growth.

Calcium  It helps muscle contraction and the secretion of hormones and enzymes.  It supports bone and teeth structure.
