Summer fever is definitely in the air after being hit with high 80 degree weather. I bet you are excited to get those finals over with, move out, and spend time with your friends on the beach in your bikini. I know what you’re thinking. Wait…back up…bikini!?

Since college is an eye opening experience for young adults, most freshman get distracted with their studies and find themselves gaining an excessive amount of weight. You don’t have your mom cooking planned dinners for you every night and your limited to little choices on campus. We often go for the easy fix like chips, candy, and the good old easy mac. It also doesn’t help that you have limited space where you live. It takes about three steps to get to your desk and possibly one step to get to the microwave and fridge. Sound familiar?

Summer is just around the corner and it’s time to get your body in shape. The good thing is with these work outs, you don’t even have to leave your dorm!

Get bikini body ready with this workout plan:

1. First step, the ever-so-dreaded cardio. Make it easy by picking of these ideas:

  • Marching in place

  • Jumping jacks

  • Jogging or high knee running

  • Or just turn on your favorite songs and dance!

    2. Get those arms toned!

  • Push-ups

  • Tricep dips using a chair

  • Planks

    3. Work those abs!
