When Jamie Brian first received her driver’s permit, she thought that driving meant pressing the gas pedal and the brake at the same time. Perhaps this earth-bound difficulty is the reason why she could land a plane by herself before she could drive. Jamie is a senior studying global communication and aviation weather. She would like to be an international airline pilot and write about the people and places she encounters during her travels. Besides daydreaming about faraway towns, she enjoys playing guitar, painting and reading French poetry to her cat, Désirée (Jamie is a little obsessed with France). On the weekends, she volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, where she has mastered the art of applying vinyl siding. She wishes that writing the perfect story was as easy, but she is up for the challenge.

Collin Cunningham is a sophomore magazine journalism student with a minor in writing. When he’s not getting into nefarious schemes with his friends to make money in some probably-slightly-illegal manner, he can be found devouring creative fiction or in the process of making short films with his friends. It should be noted also that Collin’s viewpoints could generally be considered libertarian. He believes that people should be allowed to behave in the way that he or she wants to with minimal consequence, but to keep in mind that everything in life is a learning experience intended to make one wiser. Why any of his political beliefs are relevant to a biography for a student magazine isn’t a factor he took into consideration while he was writing said bio, but he doesn’t really care.
